My sump pump is running every two minutes (I’m serious – I am timing it). I was going to go out to the N site and camp this weekend but I’m pretty sure I don’t want to get stuck 😯
Gosh, it went from waaaaaaaaaaaaay too dry to the creek rising quite steadily. I’d personally be just fine if it stopped. Now.

Scott, It is not flooding. It is called installing an indoor swimming pool.
I’m fine with how this is going just about now 😀
I figure the more rain the better, so long as it’s done by Wednesday or so…
Yup, mud is now the problem. Nearly 2.5″ of rain this last storm. Parts near Carr and Cheyenne got 5″!
Funny how things change.
We are very fortunate that it dries up so fast at the North site. It could quit raining on Tuesday, and by Thursday the mud will be gone.
The Black Rock site is facing the opposite of what NCR has been seeing. We’ve praying for rain, and they’re praying for the rain to stop. At least we got the rain in CO, and it has now stopped raining in CA.
To Bad…..It would of been a good Launch.
But the end of the world is tomarrow. 🙁
Wait a minute, some of us are still here and still planning on Mayhem!!!
Nope…6pm unless your at church, your dead.
Are you expecting to be gone at 6pm? If so, who gets your rockets, tools, and other valuable stuff? 😀
I’m just waiting for the post-rapture looting party. I know several X-ians who are convinced they’ll go when it happens – one has a hella-nice woodshop and machine shop in his home too, not to mention an awesome big screen tv and a Hummer… I call dibs.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
