Ed and all, I didn’t mean to dominate this or any other threads that Bret has posted either. There’s such a diversity of opinions in our club. I just just wanted friends to jump in. Now that they have, I don’t have much to say. 😉
Bruce,
Any comment about hijacking was directed at myself for including a photo of my own rocket in another’s thread. I still like the idea of dual centering rings with two attachment points, but my concern was that I am showing something that is still not flight tested.

And, if I could get photos to show up here, I would have included them, too. I haven’t tried to figure that out yet, but someday… I remember seeing that rocket in your hobby room of the barn. Very nice. I always liked the nose cone and fins of that particular rocket. Nicely done.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
