Hey! I gave my weekend job that I have been working since last September my two weeks notice! Hopefully Mayhem will happen and I will be a face at the launch again! Working 7 days a week sucks! 😉
Thank You Art.
You will be most welcome.
All work and no play, well….puts lots of money in Art’s pocket. 😆
Oh yeah, I remember you! Aren’t you the guy who got distracted from rocketry by a girl? I can vaguely remember your words of wisdom that rockets are “cheaper than a girl”. I guess you found out huh?
Let’s see now – that will be three years in back dues, plus initiation fee and a round of cold ones for everyone that remembers you. And you’ll need to re-certify with NCR, starting with 1/4 A’s.
Lets see, I remember him turning 18… Is Art 21 yet? I dunno if he can get served at a liquor store to buy us all beer. Ah well, he can bring me a Mountain Dew instead.
Art Hoag? Hmmmm… the astronomer who found the “Hoag Object”? Or, the one who painted my L3? And/or, that young man who helps everybody on the range and flies the coolest rockets, and in fact, did all three of the certs on his 18th birthday? Well, we’ll just have to see who you are, Art, come MHM. 😉 Then again, I’ve been kinda scarce the last few years… who am I?
Who are you? 😉
I can remember anyone who wants to bring me beer. Don’t feel too bad Art, I think we have only launched twice since September.
I am absolutely certain Art is an old friend I have not met yet. I am looking forward to it, too! Can I have a cold one also?
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
