I love the new pix home page of this site. I’ve probably witnessed 10,000 HPR boosts, and I can say with all honesty that the Saturn V was surely a top 5 in my book. The pictures get me all geeked up once again.
Joe and Ed, are you still thinking of a Mayhem launch? What a treat that would be! That said, I believe this project is probably too pretty to fly, and if it were mine, I’d be hard pressed to pull the trigger. This is a glorious masterpiece, no two ways about it. Nice job!

I wasn’t able to view the launch in person, so when I saw those pics, my jaw dropped. Man, that is beautiful. Wish I could’ve seen Doug’s movies of that. Awesome!
Wish I could’ve seen Doug’s movies of that.
Bruce, you’ll have your chance at MHM ’08. I will likely just add the footage from Oktoberfest and XPC to the earlier footage and make a 2007 reel.

That’ll truly be a can’t miss night.

Well, I’ll definitely have to make it a three-day event then! Definitely a can’t miss!
I’d forgotten what a beautiful boost it was. Thanks!!!!

Doug’s movies of that launch were truly spectacular – definitely a can’t miss event.
Thanks need to go to those who took some incredible photos of the flight. I really thrilled to see these great shots.
Thanks to the likes of Ray, Nadine, Emmett, David, and Doug. I’m really glad you guys are there! And for a website to post them, Warren and Jeremiah!
You know if you have a lot of pics from the build and the flight, zip ’em up and send them to me and I’ll create a photo gallery album for them and get them posted.
Warren
Are the full size images available somewhere? Those are the coolest lift off pics I can ever remember seeing. Incredible rocket guys!
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
