Just FYI – won’t be able to tow this time. Out-of-town family visiting (arriving late Friday) and I might talk them into coming out for a few hours on Sunday the boss-lady demands I be ‘present and accounted for’ during most of the weekend. 🙁
Thanks Jack – family first! We’ll get it figured out.
I can tow the trailer to the launch.
I will have it there between 7:30 and 8:00
I will only be there Saturday.
Mike – you are another of the greatly appreciated heroes for the cause. Thanks!!!! I’ll get the trailer back out on Sunday. Waiver has been called – weather looks promising – and we’ll hold a short pow-wow about Oktoberfest needs/wants – everyone invited. Looking to be another awesome year for NCR.
Here are the pictures I got Saturday. it was so foggy getting there, many
passed the turn off. By launch time it was blue clear sky. Wonderful all day.
I’m sure Sunday will be even better.

Awesome pictures!!!
Some really great pictures Mike. If it’s okay with you, I’d like to share them with the folks at the USFS and FAA since I don’t think they’ll see them on our Forums. Let me know. Thanks for towing out and setting up.
I’ll get launch logs posted soon. Great weather – several certs, awesome skies, good times all around. And only one MIA – Brad’s attack on Nunn.
Share away.
thanks
Great pics Mike, Thanks!
Fly ’em high and land ’em close!
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
