Doug, Most excellant to read you’re planning on attending MHM. Not to hijack this thead but I’m pretty sure Ed and I would like to loft the Saturn V again from your awesome pad.

I don’t know, the pad will likely have be too far away from the flight line like last time.

Oh really – we’ll make proper arrangements. Film at eleven. Thanks.
Ok, so I’ll be at Scott’s shop/hanger in Longmont at 10 am tomorrow. We’ll be mostly glassing tubes. I’ll be there all day so come when you can and I’ll probably order pizza at some point. Feel free to bring drinks/snacks/etc. Glassing is messy .. dress accordingly.
Thanks, Steve
Doesn’t appear that I’ll be able to make it today. An old friend passed away last week and there is a memorial service at 1 so I’ll be tied up.
Awesome start to the project today. Rich Wallner and Kevin Osler came up and we got all 6 boosters and 3 main sections glassed with 7.5 oz cloth. Came out nice.
Thanks Guys!! You did great!

Way Cool. Love the web site. Keep the pictures coming.
Thanks.
I need some more motor mount tubes, 54mm and 76mm .. anyone got any they want to sell/donate? I’d like to get them for this weekend if possible.
Thanks! Steve
What length? Heavy paper or glass? How many? I will look and see.
I know there is a launch this weekend but I’ll be working on the Proton again this Sat. More glassing and hopefully working on the motor mount assemblies. We have a grill and with have burgers or dogs for lunch.
Let me know if are coming ..
Thanks, Steve
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
