Looking very awesome, everyone. Keep up the great progress.
This weekend and next weekend are packed for me. I’ll have to set aside some time after that. Once we get semi-final weights (+/- 5 pounds) I can generate patterns and order the fabric.
What altimeter are you using to deploy the parachutes?
Edward
I am fifty/fifty for Sunday. Depends on my progress at work on Saturday. I won’t know for sure until Sat. night. Mira is ready to go, though!
Steve,
I’ll be there. Let me know the approx. head count Saturday evening or early Sunday.

Great .. will do.
I believe the frameworks are all done now ? so we can work on the faring coat on the 12″ tubes to get ready for paint and finish the nosecones. We have a little fin work to do as well. Maybe we can rig up another tube rotisserie as well.
Can you bring a scale so we can get a final weight for Edward?
WOW! It has come a long way in such a short time! Looks good!
I will be there tomorrow, but no kids!
Great day today .. some great progress ..
..
The new nosecone .. thanks to Ken .. looking great. Foaming the inside of the outboard nosecones.

Putting on an epoxy coat to protect the fins. Main tube on the rotisserie after faring coat in foreground.

Parts galore ..
Thanks everyone!!
Looks good!
Wow looks awesome, can’t wait to see this thing fly!
Couple questions – what weight glass did you use for the main tube and how many wraps? and the plywood bulkheads 1/2″ or 3/4″ plywood?
Thanks and great build. -Sean
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order.
