Oh Man! .. we are getting so close!
This …. once painted . . . . . . . . . . goes on top of this ..
..
looking good!
DUDE
I DIDNT APRECIATE THE SIZE TILL I WALKED IN THE HANGER TONIGHT. 😯
Its purty big! 🙂
All those pods really add some mass to the whole thing!
Work has been killing me the last six or eight months (not that i am complaining I have it!)
But I will plan to take that day off for the launch!
Oh and before it leaves I need a picture in front of the hanger fully assembled.
So Ken .. Dave .. did you get a chance to paint Stage 3 this week? Scott thought someone had been in and done some painting. Just wondering where we stand..
Thanks, Steve
With Mothers Day on Sun I doubt anyone wants to work then so I’ll be up on Sat. We should be able to fully assemble the whole rocket and get the CG numbers we need.
Adrian is working up the electronics events procedures and we can install/mount the ones we have. We have a few things left on the recovery systems too .. pretty minor.
We need e-matches to test the separation and recovery components .. I have BP. We need at least 8, maybe more depending on initial results.
Thanks .. Steve
nope, I didn’t hear of how to get into the hangar. Maybe Ken did the paint fairy job?
I can make it on Saturday though.
Guys,
I must admit, it was John and I who have been painting.
See you Saturday.
I’ll contribute up to 25 e-matches – Oxral, Daveyfire, M-tek, you take your choice. I have a significant collection in my magazine.
Do you guys have a flight schedule yet? This one is definitely worth planning around.
I think even we were a little blown away when we fully assembled the Proton today .. this is going to be so cool!

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
