ParticipantNext time we’ll have to turn the cameras on last after everything else is ready to go…

Perhaps Team Proton ought to have a Post Launch debriefing and a “where do we go from here?” BBQ at my house. Those who are interested can come on over for an afternoon of eating and discussing a rebuilding effort. I have enough room and such to have team members, families, and “fun” dogs. I would be happy to procure and prepare the meat/main dish, while others bring a side as well as BYOB. I am just looking for a good date for most who are interested being able to attend. I live in Longmont.

Sounds good to me .. we may have messed up a little on the rocket, but we nailed to food part on Sun! 🙂 I went right to 9 hr days and Sat at work after the launch so Sat’s are good after 2pm or so and Sun’s open.
I secured a new storage unit today and should finally get everything unloaded from my truck this afternoon.
I assume Sasha is invited .. she’s certainly a ‘fun’ dog .. 🙂
Thanks, Steve

Sundays work the best for me, I work the next 6 days 12hour shifts and then off for 3 days.

ParticipantDave,
I think that’s a great idea. Any Saturday afternoon, as long as it doesn’t conflict with a launch, would be fine with me. Sooner is better, too, I think.

ParticipantI should mention that Sundays also work well, in light of James’ comment.

If I had a preference, I would want to do this before the end of this month. I have family coming in at the end of the month and grandkids coming in, a daughter getting married, and family bar-b-ques the first weekend of July, and the same time as the next launch. How does next weekend work? I will check with my social co-ordinator and see what is on her calendar. I will bring desert if anybody is up for rocky road river bottom chocolate pudding. It is quite decadent. I can also bring a pot of Texas Style Baked beans in my dutch oven. Saturday or Sunday will work, but prefer Sunday.

It looks like next Sunday (6/10)seems the best. If we go a week later, then it is Father’s Day. In light of people of having to work on Monday, come on over around three or so knowing that dinner will be served around 5.
PM me for address and number of people and friendly dogs.June 6, 2012 at 11:43 am #55552Adrian
ParticipantI thought by now, Adrian would have had all the data posted.
All the g force curves showing, when and what moters fired, ejection charges fired, directional g-forces on the rocket…………… and what Soda Joe was drinking at the time. 😉I attached the data files over at the Rocketry Forum:
http://www.rocketryforum.com/showthread.php?32511-NCR-Group-Project-Proton-M/page2
I should try to put the data together to see what exactly happened with the stage 2/3 separation and deployments. I think the stage 2 chute deployment mortar fired before the 2/3 separation happened, but I’m not sure yet.
I’ll see if I can make it Sunday. Also James, if you can add me to the Picassa album, I have a ton of photos. There is also a video that Steve Bailey took that I think I’ll upload to Youtube, but it would be nice if there were a place to park it at full resolution.

Anyone know how to make it play sideways?

There is a rotate video option in the Youtube video editor menu.
In youtube, click on your username in the upper right corner, click video manager, in the black menu bar click video editor, drag the clip you want to rotate into the lower menu. When you hover over the video you will see a rotate icon. Then when you are done click publish in the upper right hand corner.
