You need to add TRA/NAR L1, L2 and L3, it will help to find out who is both. I filled it out 2 times but it would not let me give 2 answers.
so you should have:
TRA 0
NAR 0
TRA/NAR 0TRA 1
NAR 1
TRA/NAR 1TRA 2
NAR 2
TRA/NAR 2TRA 3
NAR 3
TRA/NAR 3November 18, 2008 at 2:44 am #49570
Warren B. MusselmanModeratorThank you James – I’ll update it.

The following quote is from correspondance I am having with the Sport Rocketry magazine editor, Thomas Beach, about an article I am writing. I thought you might find his comment about NAR and HP interesting…
“In the recent NAR membership survey, many people requested more high power articles. Oddly, there were also others who said that we had TOO MUCH high power in the magazine and they wanted less… but after I cancelled out all of those with an equal number of requests for more high power, there were more high power requests left over. – Thomas E. Beach”
FYI, because your survey covered our current membership status I put down both Triploi and NAR. However, I had only joined the NAR for 2009, as I didn’t see much benifit from joining Tripoli. I then started thinking how nice it would be to launch one of James’s expiremental motors in the future, or visit other launch sites. I then succumbed and joined Tripoli again. — Sigh. another $60 that could have been given to Tim Thomas for motors. 🙄

Jeffrey Joe HintonModeratorNAR High Power wannabees spell it Triple E. I’m a Dual member but that’s becasue I’m confused and don’t know what I want to be if I grow up.

I just finally sent a copy of my NAR L2 card off to Triple E. 😉 with my renewal this year. Been meaning to for a while. I guess the 60 bucks motivated me to get full credit at Tripoli. God knows my 401K doesnt. 😯
Hope the S&P bounces up tomarrow. 😕November 20, 2008 at 1:47 am #49574James Russell
I am both to support both and to help with certs. TRA supports HP more then NAR. NAR is more model rocketry and mid-power but they do support HPR as well. TRA is the way to go if you want to do any research. At one time TRA was the only one that had a primary insurance policy but that is not the case any more. The both have different politics but the both have the same goal, fly rockets and have fun. I think you need to just look at what you want to do and go with who has what you need, if you want to support both great!

Hope the S&P bounces up tomarrow. 😕My 401K is now a 301K. 😥 Actually I only lost 2% as I transffered everything into fixed income funds as soon as Obama became popular. My wife thinks I’m a financial wizard if not a prophet. Sun announced a layoff of 6000 people, but so far I’m still able to fly rockets at both NAR and TRA. I wasn’t goingto do model rockets this year but my next door neighbor got involved and it looks like they may want to go to NARAM-51, so I’m back in contests again.

I have already taken a bath 🙁 , so unless we go to zero, 😯 I may as well hold. I have actually been buying the last few weeks, partialy for tax reasons, patially to get my doller cost average down. God if I only had a crystal ball. 😕 Which way will it go?

MikeSModeratorI let My NAR run out.
Can not afford both.
Want to fly more.

Warren,
There seems to be an error in the data collection of the poll on membership. There are more votes for TRA than there are voters. This may have been caused when additional options were added in midstream.
