Anyone else see the story on the Hybrid thermal sensor? Its on Rocketry Planet.
It supposedly lets a flyer know when the nitrous tank is full and begins to vent by flashing an LED. This seem like a super cool way to save money on NO2 for the club, if it works.

From what I’ve seen and heard, it works quite well. I really like the idea. I’m going to get one for when I fly with T-C and NCR on commercial days. Relatively speaking, it takes quite a bit of venting to use up even a pound of nitrous, and I think the club gets it at a reasonable price for the cylinders. Still, better not to waste a ton.

We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
