Pretty convincing logic that it was an aircraft contrail:

On a semi-related note, a buddy of mine from New Zealand is totally captivated by contrails. I teased him about it, and he pointed out that they rarely see them in NZ – not that many flights at high altitude (where condensation occurs)… many of the aircraft they see are flying much lower.
We counted almost 30 contrails from the north site one day. I’m talking 30 visible at the same time. Funny how we don’t give them a second glance.
I did some looking and there are many cryptic warning in the area. I was surprised sort of to find out how many different military test areas there are along that coast. I dont know the terminology so do always know what I am reading. There was a large area to the north of Catalina Island that was warning of testing that would be ongoing. Is it hard to believe their test somehow got off course and THAT is what was seen????
I wondered about Catalina… but there is no way that was a contrail… temps too high at launch for contrails, 30 miles out? No amateur would do that… though it was in International waters, legally, they could. Why?
Everyone has missed the truth behind this episode – visiting aliens have left for home.
Very logical Joe. I did think about it for a moment however. I guess the so called offical report is jet contrail. Still weird. Guess one would have had to observed it in real time to draw own determination. ET is as good as anyones’ guess. I need a stiff drink…………
Will be on the road during Dec 4 launch. Maybe weather will cooperate so I can be @ New Year launch. Blue Skies everyone.
It’s not like were going to chase them.
😯
I guess they gave up trying to find intelligent life on this planet. 8)
I agree with Joe, however. I would like to point out that Wiley Coyote is still looking to get the Road Runner and it is entirely possible that the contrail was yet another failed attempt with the larger class ACME rocket.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
