Should I fiberglass the fins tip to tip on the 2.5X Big Daddy or just fiberglass the fillets? It has 3/8″ birch ply fins. They’re big but this won’t be a speed demon in flight. I also don’t want to add more weight than I have to on the tail end of this rocket.

It might be worth the little extra weight. It isn’t the up part that you should be concerned about, it is the down part, especially with those swept back fins. I would do a tip to tip glass on that rocket if it were mine.
