or Goex Clear Shot to replace black powder? It seems as if my BP source has dried up.
I’ve read some interesting articles on BP replacement.
http://www.firemanrocketry.com/ejection.htm for example.
Has anyone here successfully tried using these to replace BP?
I’m slowly trying to iron out the powder/ematch issues as I progress to dual deploy. I’m in no rush and am looking for ideas or someone who has gone down this path before.
I crashed 2 rockets in one day using pyrodex. I wont use it again. I do hear people have good luck with it when they let it build up pressure. Ill just stick with 4f, just too nervous to try anything else.
You Know…..
You can order it online.

Thanks!
Stupid me, I thought you’d need a LEUP to get it.
On the other hand, they seem to want to sell you 5 pound minimum orders at $25.00 per pound, which includes HAZMAT shipping.
My last pound lasted about 7 years. I’ll be dead, or near so, by the time I use 5 lbs.
Anyone else need some?
Ill take one, bet some other guys would too.
I know the place.
Even using 4FFFF this method is the only way to go. Easy, efficient and reliable. I’ve used it over 25K and it works great. It also works under 1k 🙂
