Colin and I can’t make Saturday but should be there for Sunday and we’ll be happy to work the board for a while.

So it rained hard down here south of denver last night, clearly I’m doing my part with the rain dance. Anyting up north?
Not too much. BUT. It has been foggy with drizzle and cooler. It
has a very high chance of rain over the next four days.
Maybe I should move up north. CLEARLY my rain dance is better than the one you guys do up there. 😛
Bret, don’t make me beg you to take me to the April launch!

Please do. I have a catch in my get – a – long. 😆
How was the launch today?
Until about 1:00 or so. Then the front came rolling in. Otherwise beautiful conditions. Small turn out, but the rockets kept going up. At least one new Level 1 Cert success. Nice to see new members out there.
Thanks to Ken R. for towing. Also personal thanks to Ken R as I forgot my Astro unit and borrowed his. Thanks Joe! John S. was there too with his bits and goodies.
Really fun to be flying again! Could have used a few more hours, but not complaining. It was fun to be hiking around the North site once again.
I hope it rained out there as much as it rained here in Longmont last night.
It was literally perfect up util about 1pm. Blue skies with a few puffs of clouds here and there. Whitney and I put up 9 rockets, with our Nike Smoke going over 5K, and never had to walk more than a couple hundred yards to retreive anything. It was great to be out there.
It was a beautiful day for flying until the weather turned. My new video cameras were a huge success – videos of my Hell Yeah and Honest John flights are posted on youtube.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
