I need a motor tho. Going to fly my finally built Firestorm 54 from Tim. Want to fly it on an H and maybe then an I if I get it back. I’m talking a 38mm Aerotech reload – sorrt, forget the length, is there something that is kind of “standard”?
Hey I herd those will fly on a “K” 🙂 You could go for level 2

Standard for that bird? I’d do the I1299 if I were you. Fits the 38/480 case. H999 if you’re a wimp. 😉

Guys, this is the first flight so yeah, I’m wimpy! I want to be sure I built it right before I put something big in it. I’m going small on this flight, and if everything works, I’ll go for the L2 on that K. 😀
See ya guys tomorrow …
BTW, Ken, we need to talk about a great site I found near Longmont for LPR flights. Way better than the field next to Sandstone!
Perfect day down here in Broomfield – hope the weather is as great up there. Its been a long time and I thought I’d be able to make this launch but had to do some house work. Hope everyone had great flights.
We are Good to Go with our scheduled and approved launch on Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th, from the North Site, subject to change – Mostly cloudy and High Winds predicted. Range and waiver should be active by 9AM on Saturday. The Pawnee National Grassland remains fragile and dry, so extra precautions are in order. Please stay on the authorized roads and please don’t park more than 100’ off the road at the flight line.
