I went to get the mail the other day and there was a big packing envelope with something soft stuffed inside. I opened it up to find a Mile High Mayhem 2008 T-shirt! I’m not sure who sent it but whoever it was thanks a bunch.
It really bummed me out to miss the launch. MHM and Octoberfest have become 2 of the highlights of each year for me. For those who don’t know, I was at a memorial service for my grandma on my mom’s side, and the service was very nice. I think the whole extended family thought I was a bit nuts since I was checking the weather for Nunn CO every couple of hours all weekend long, just to see how you all were doing. I did show a few of them some of the pictures you guys posted after Saturday, which looked like a great day for flying, and they were amazed.
Anyway, thanks to somebody for the T-shirt, I will be wearing it proudly at the June launch!
