Wyoming Flag - Northern Colorado Rocketry

First I guess I am checking to see if anyone had any reservations about
Me flying a Wyoming State Flag at MHM 2009?

If Not.

At work I was telling people I would kind of like to. Carl a man I work
with said He had a flag I could use.

It was given to Him when He got out of the service in 1968. When He
landed in Casper it was presented to Him by other Vet’s and His
Parents. It has never been flown. He said….He never had a good
reason to fly it. And He said it needs to be flown.

Fourty one years waiting in a box. WOW.

Please let Me know. It would be on a makeshift pole, just four or five
feet off the ground. Around My tent area. Weather permitting.

Maybe even with a little story placard.

I have flown a New Mexico Flag and Art flies his Colorado and US Flag’s so it shouldn’t be a problem. We typically fly ours about 12 to 15 feet off the ground but I think it would be cool to show all the states represented at Mile High Mayhem.

I’m sorry Mike, this took many many many minutes of reserch.
And it appears unfortunately that Wyoming sits north of the Mason-Dixon Line of 1767.
Hmmm….Perhaps if you flew it on the North side of of the firing range,
say just north of where range left usally sits, it would be OK and my ancestors could over look this. 😉

I think in honor of the Vetrans of Wyoming and of all the Vetrans of this great Union, past, preasant, and future, flying it now, would not have been soon enough. 🙂

I wouldn’t have even asked. Yeah, I’d go ahead and do that if I were you! Fly it proudly! I think anyone coming from out of state, even if from a neighboring state, should honor their Vets and travels and show their support for where they are from. Except, of course, if it’s John Wilke and the Iowa flag. He’s actually a Nebraskan boy and now a Colorado resident again.
