NCR Club Launch - August 2013

Launch Summary

Regularly scheduled club launch.  Thanks to Ken and John Reilly for the equipment trailer towing chore to and from.  And thanks to jon Skuba for coordinating the waiver in my absence on Saturday.  Surprizingly small turnout all things considered.  21 different flyers put up a total of 51 flights - 36 Class One and 15 Class Two.  Notable flights need to include Jon Skuba's "Katana" to 15,763 and Chris Frazier's "Maddog" to 11,597.  The usual disclaimer - flights are listed in a random order and motor usage breaks down as follows:  A's=3, B's=1, C's=7, D's=1, E's=8, F's=6, G's=10, H's=4, I's=4, J's=2, K's=3 and L's=2.

Weather Conditions

I wasn't there until after two PM but I am told it was a beautiful day on the prairie.  Clear skies and little wind for most of the day.  Afternoon sun showers helped settle the dust and raise the humidity but otherwise a perfect day on the range.  Waiver went from 9 AM to 5 PM.
