Northern Colorado Rocketry
2003-03-01 NCR Club Launch

Pawnee Grasslands - Atlas Site

Saturday March 1st, 2003

Launch Summary

A few hardy flyers took a chance on the fickle March weather to come out and fly. A lot of rockets were prepped and people huddled behind whatever windbreaks they could find to wait for some calm air. The 2 high power flights for the day drifted south past Highway 14.

Weather Conditions

Cold, clear, and breezy. Winds aloft were strong as the approaching winter storm brought colder temps and clouds.
