Launch Summary

A broken fitting on the Nitrous ground support equipment kept the Ratt Hybrids from launching today. Art Hoag teamed up with Eric Parsons to launch his scale model Jay Hawk again on a pair of J415's and deployed a 15' military chute for a crowd pleasing shot. The earthquake prediction center was on alert as Eric Parons attempted to launch his Standard Arm on the Hypertek Earthquake-L again, but failed injector valve caused a dump of the nitrous and ignition.... Keep trying Eric. Dale Netherton smashed the Vern Estes record with the flight of his "2 Staged C" to reach 4,433'. Another day of kids trying to land as close to the pumpkin as possible to win a rocket kit.

All launch events will be conducted using nationally approved/accepted range safety practices. The launching of rockets on NFS land is normally prohibited under a Forest Service Region 2 fire regulation. The issuance of NCR’s permit allows launches to take place by exempting the Holder from that regulation for approved launch events only. All launches, other than those conducted by the Holder during approved launch events, are outside the scope of this permit and are prohibited by Forest Service regulations.
