NCR Club Launch - September 2014

Launch Summary

Day two of the regularly scheduled weekend.  The last of the three Supermoons for the summer and a heavy dew fall but otherwise a pleasant evening on the prairie for the few that stayed.  9 flyers put up 15 flights on Sunday.  Notable have to include David Pinter's window shot to 23010' and Eli Boardman's Jr. L1 Flight.  Huge thanks to everyone that stuck around to solve the Chinese puzzle that loading our trailer has become.  Motor usage breaks down as follows: NO A's, 2 B's, NO C's or D's, 1 E, 1 F, 3 G's, 2 H's, 1 I, 1 J, NO K's, 2 L's, 1 M and 1 research load.

Weather Conditions

Like the old surfer's adage - you had to have been there mate.  Sunday's weather was even better than Saturday's, once the small gust front pushed through.  Threat of rain was negligible and sunburn was plentiful.
