Launch Summary
Regularly scheduled club launch. Range was ready and operational at 9:00 AM. 48 different flyers out up a total of 102 flights - 70 Class 1 and 32 Class 2Notable flights have to include research motors by Cliff and Jeff Wilder, Ken Franzel's 7 G cluster, Jr. L1 Certification for Eric Petersen, L2 Certification for John Winter, a Small Endeavor flown by David Tjarks, a scratch built Icarus flown by James Wade and the GoodBye flight of Bruce Schaefer's Grey Ghost on a James Russell Special Red. Flights are listed in a random order and motor usage breaks down as follows: 1/2A's=4, A's=4, B's=8, C's=19, D's=4, E's=2, F's=9, G's=21, H's=10, I's=5, J's=9, K's=7 No L's or M's, 1 N.
Weather Conditions
The weekend just kept getting better. Operations ended at 4:30 PM. Huge thanks to everyone that stayed until the end to help with cleanup, especially Mike Shinn, Art Hoag, Vic Davis, Larry Haynes, Steve Jensen, Max Haynes, and I am sure there were others but now I don't/can't remember.
