Launch Summary
Return to Flight - First launch of 2010 as an Officially recognized and Authorized permittee of the Pawnee National Grassland. Thanks to Ken and John Reilly for towing out and back, thanks to Mike Shinn,Jon Skuba,Dan Winter, David Bishop and others that helped with set up and clean up. 25 flyers put up 59 flights (44 Class One, 15 Class Two). Four of the five new contestants started the Alphabet. Notable flights -1st flight of 2010 to Mark Stumbaugh on a huge 1/4 A, L1 Cert for Josh Olser, Dan Winter's V2's, Tim Thomas' two stager WAC/Tiny Tim, Greg Mackey's Verticlal Assualt. Adrian Adamson's Half Fast and Steve Hendrick's Poindexter. Flights are listed in random order. A's amd under = 8, B's=5, C's=10, D's=2, E's=5, F's=5, G's=9, H's=6, I's=3, J's=5 and K's=1.
Weather Conditions
Cold and calm winter day. Broken clouds kept the sun from warming things much past 40 degrees but the lack of wind made for a pleasent day on the prairie.
