Rough calculations have been made, and MAYHEM really did happen. Friday morning was breezy until about 11:00am.
It was calm from noon to 6pm, then heavy gusts and peraistant wind from about 7pm until past midnight.
Saturday is starting out with light gusts, as of 9am things seem to be calming down.

I’ve installed a new plugin to the website that will allow us to do volunteer sign-up sheets.
For now, this is the only way to get to the page:

We’ve checked with the District Ranger and we are OK to proceed as planned with the scheduled 6/1,2,3 launch, subject to normal precautions.

Bet it’s pretty green up there if the rain we’ve had down here is any indication. I haven’t run my sprinklers in 2 weeks.
Best of luck to you on the move Jim. I’m still rocking my first RRC2 altimeter in various rockets. I’ll be interested to see what you bring out in terms of kits and hardware.

So I was reading the Tripoli rules and it says if I let my membership lapse I have to recertify. Well, I did let it lapse for a couple years, so I guess I’m wondering who is in charge of recerts these days? How hardcore are they on the rule? I’ve only been grounded for a couple of years.
